Clash Royale: War decks

Royal Ghost

As the name suggests, this deck centres around the Royal Ghost. It is an area of effect (AoE) damage unit that hovers and remains invisible until he starts fighting. This gives players a huge advantage in battle, especially if they have the fast-moving-prince. It pairs well with splash damage cards, due to its single target attacks. It is advised that players also use the flying electro dragon, as it provides a speedy source of damage.

The Royal Ghost deck consists of:

  • Zap
  • Electro Dragon
  • Skeletons
  • Prince
  • Mega Minion
  • Poison
  • Giant
  • Royal Ghost

Mega Knight Graveyard

Players should note that Mega Knight decks are generally very strong. This build pairs Mega Knight with Graveyard, which can be quite powerful. However, Mega Knight’s ability to put pressure on the opponent, and the Graveyard’s skeleton spawn can be a lot to deal with individually. This build is thus not recommended for new players.

The build features:

  • Poison
  • Mega Knight
  • Hunter
  • Graveyard
  • Goblin Cage
  • Fisherman
  • Electro Wizard
  • Barbarian Barrel

Balloon

This build centres around Balloon and multiple fiery cards. Fireball and Lava Hound deals a lot of damage. However, players can use Balloon to take their opponents by surprise.

The following cards are recommended for this deck:

  • Zap
  • Tombstone
  • Skeleton Dragons
  • Mega Minion
  • Lava Hound
  • Fireball
  • Barbarians
  • Balloon

Royal Delivery

It is believed that this is one of the top decks in Clash Royale. It focuses on Royal Delivery, which is a damage and defence spell to buff the other units. It is recommended that it should damage air units and take advantage of that air superiority with the Lava Hound and Balloon.

This deck features:

  • Zap
  • Royal Delivery
  • Minions
  • Mini P.E.K.K.A
  • Mega Minion
  • Lava Hound
  • Fireball
  • Balloon

2.6 Hog Cycle

This deck calls for a more offensive playstyle, however players should be careful not to over-extend. It is advised that players save the Musketeer for when the enemy deploys a Lava Hound or a Balloon. The cards in the deck are easy to obtain and level up. Players will be able to win the battles if they understand how this build functions.

This deck features:

  • Cannon
  • Musketeer
  • Ice Spirit
  • Skeletons
  • Ice Gole
  • Zap
  • Fireball
  • Hog Rider

MusicMaster’s X-Bow

This build is pretty flexible, as it has strong defences and good offence. Generally, players will want to play defensive, and take their time to work out their opponent’s deck. However, they should use X-Bow if the opponent uses something big, like a Lava Hound.

The build consists of:

  • Tesla
  • Fireball
  • Musketeer
  • Ice Spirit
  • Skeletons
  • Ice Golem
  • Elixir Collector
  • X-Bow

Golem Beatdown

The Golem is a very popular unit, as it has high hit points. Additionally, it is able to deal a lot of damage. This deck relies on pushing back the opponent and taking away their ability to defend. Players should be careful not to lose their Golem.

The deck features:

  • Mega Minion
  • Lumberjack
  • Baby Dragon
  • Dark Prince
  • Tornado
  • Lightning
  • Golem
  • Barbarian Barrel
