Axie Infinity class guide

Out of the nine different Axie classes players can choose from, six are primary classes while three are secret classes, and each is different.

Axie Infinity is a popular non-fungible token game. Players are thus able to earn Ethereum-based cryptocurrencies, Smooth Love Potions (SLP) and Axie Infinity Shards (AXS). Players can obtain tokens through skilled game play and contributions to the ecosystem.

The game invites players to collect, raise, breed, trade and battle with their Axies. These are fierce creatures that love to battle, build and hunt for various treasures. Axie Infinity currently features nine different classes of Axies. Six of these classes are primary classes, while three are secret classes.

Each class consists of different Axies and different ‘moves’, popularly known as cards. These cards provide the Axies with additional skills and abilities they can use in battle.

Bug class

The Bug class has an advantage over Reptile, Dusk and Plant classes. However, it is weak against the Bird, Dawn and Aquatic classes. Every Bug card will provide the Axie with an additional three morale points and one vitality point. In addition to the additional skills and abilities the cards provide, the Axies will receive an additional 10 percentage damage bonus.

It is important to note that the Bug class is hardly ever used in an Axie team setup. Even though most of the Bug cards score low on a card tier list, there are a lot of cards that apply de-buffs upon use.
