In Artery Gear: Fusion, players can offer their collected characters gifts to increase their favorability levels, which can unlock new voices and backstories.
In this thrilling mobile game, Artery Gear: Fusion, players can participate in turn-based battles against an array of enemies. The game offers players unique content with beautifully-illustrated storylines of characters.
The game is set in a persistent world that was invaded by Puppies, which are incredibly powerful foes. In these dark times, it is your responsibility to defeat these enemies and restore peace to the world.
Players can collect and upgrade many characters, otherwise referred to as Artery Gears (AGs), to help you defeat enemies. There are more than 12 kinds of family lines and hundreds of attractive characters with unique styles for you to procure.
Different types of AGs
All the characters in the game are in a specific category, which determines their statistics, skills, and positions in battle. The table below highlights every type of AG, and describes each one:
Type | Description |
Assault | These AGs are heavily slanted towards the annihilation of enemy units by dealing amazing damage |
Balanced | As their name suggests, they are well-rounded and suited for combat in most circumstances and situations |
Tactical | Tactical characters possess unique talents and skills that make them perfect for specific combat situations |
Repair | They have the ability to restore their allies’ health points |
Defence | Defence characters focus on protecting their teammates by tanking enemies’ attacks |
Artery Gear Fusion: Favorability
Although there is a wide variety of AG types, you will get the opportunity to bond with them as you progress in the game, which will slowly increase an AG’s favorability with you. Once you have gained enough favorability, the favorability level with the character will increase. This in turn, unlocks new AG voices and background stories.
It is worth noting that their voices and background stories allegedly have no effect on your gameplay or on the battlefield. Instead, it is a fun feature that players can use to get to know their characters better. As you progress in the game, you can get different items, including sweet treats.
You can offer cakes and cupcakes to your AGs to increase their favorability levels, however, you first have to unlock the fleet. Once it has been unlocked, players can assign their AGs to specific rooms, in which you can offer them gifts. You should bear in mind that the fleet only unlocks once you have completed chapter 1, episode 5.
Fleet
Once you have access to the fleet, you will discover that it contains different ships, each of which are responsible for varying features. The mothership is where your fleet crew and AG lives, and you can invite characters onboard the ship at any time.
To invite an AG, you have to click on the settings tab and then select the plus icon next to the lobby. You can then choose one of your collected AGs to live in your mothership. Once a character is in your lobby, you can tap on them to interact with them or to offer them gifts.
Gifts are special items, but if you happen to get some, you should send them to your AGs to increase their favorability.
How many AGs can live in the mothership?
Players can assign 5 AGs to live in their mothership, for 7 characters can live in the ship simultaneously. Once you have chosen a character to be displayed in the mothership, you can bond with them.
Some players choose to rotate the characters in their mothership so that they can increase the favorability of all their characters. Other players choose to rather focus on specific characters and only work on their favorability.
In the end, it all comes down to personal preference, as favorability does not have an effect on your battles and gameplay.
How to acquire additional AGs
Artery Gear: Fusion has a gacha system that allows players to use different probabilities to get varying rarities of characters in the game. You have the opportunity to summon with a range of summoning banners that are available from the beginning of the game. It is noteworthy that every character has a rarity.
You can summon AGs using banners, including the Normal Summoning Banner, the Beginner Recruitment Banner, the Elite Recruitment Banner, and the Event Summoning Banner. Gamers should note that the beginner banner is only active in the early stages of the game, and the normal banner is always available. The other banners are time sensitive, which means that they are not always active or available.
