You are invited to experience imaginative tactical and role-playing elements in this exhilarating mobile game, Alchemy Stars. It takes place in the fictitious world of Astra, and its inhabitants are Caelestites and Aurorians. Players can assume the role of a survivor of the Caelestite race to fight invading creatures alongside the Aurorians.
The game features more than 30 different characters that you can acquire and play with. All the characters are divided into different categories, based on their skills, powers, abilities, statistics, and rarity. Though the characters are in separate tiers, all of them can go through the breakthrough process.
What is a breakthrough?
Breakthrough is a system that allows you to improve your characters by providing them with additional levels and bonuses for their statistics. If you head to the breakthrough menu in the game, you will discover different stars, or levels that you can upgrade your character to. Keep in mind that the breakthrough process requires various resources and materials.
It is worth noting that the breakthrough levels vary, as they depend on the character’s current star rating. This means that a 5-star character can go through 5 levels of breakthrough, while 4-star characters can only go through 4 levels of breakthrough. Thus, 5-star characters have more capabilities of getting stronger.
Alchemy Stars: Old Seal Breakthrough
As mentioned above, the characters in the game are divided into different categories, one of which is the Legendary characters, also known as the Old Seals. These characters can only be acquired by completing the Old Seal quests, which unlocks after you have completed stage 7, chapter 14.
Similarly to the other characters, Legendary Characters can also go through the breakthrough process. Keep in mind, though, that their breakthrough process requires completely different materials and resources than that of the other characters.
To improve a 6-star character, you will need to get Star Crests, which are available for purchase in the in-game store. One Star Crest costs approximately 100 stellar gems. Players should remember that Stellar Gems can only be acquired when obtaining duplicate 5-star and 6-star Aurorians.
Upgrading your Legendary units can take some time, as you first have to acquire enough Stellar Gems to purchase a Star Crest.
How to initiate a breakthrough
When you have acquired all the necessary materials to breakthrough a Legendary Aurorian, you can start the process by going to the Aurorian page. You should then select the Legendary character you want to improve before clicking on the breakthrough tab.
You will then find a new menu, which shows different stars that you can fill up. Players can tap on each star to view its details and upgrade. You will be able to unlock a breakthrough level by providing the materials needed.
Keep in mind that you cannot skip breakthrough levels, which means you must follow the path of stars in the menu.
Is it worth it to breakthrough an Old Seal?
Many players claim that the Old Seal Aurorians are the best characters in the game, as they feature high statistics, powerful skills, and amazing properties. These characters have already been ascended when you obtain them, however, you can improve their skills and statistics with the breakthrough process.
It is completely worth it to breakthrough your Old Seal characters, as it will only make them more powerful. The endgame content will thus become progressively easier to complete, and you will defeat enemies much faster.
Who are Legendary Aurorians?
It is important to note that there are only 4 Legendary Aurorians in the game. Each of them have unique skills and abilities to help you on the battlefield. Moreover, they form part of a specific element.
